Kawasaki launched the Ninja ZX-10R at Rs.13.99 lakh (former showroom, Delhi).
The Ninja ZX-10R is based on a cast aluminium frame and has a length of 2,085 mm, a width of 740 mm, a height of 1,145 mm and a wheelbase of 1,440 mm. The bicycle weighs 206 kg and comes with a 17-litre fuel tank.
The new Ninja ZX-10R receives some improvements, such as a more powerful engine with finger follower valve unit, diamond-like carbon coating on the finger follower, cylinder head prepared for the high lift cam, red cap on the cylinder head and dual direction of Kawasaki quick change (KQS). The Ninja ZX-10R is also available as a single-seater in the Indian market.
Driving the bicycle is the same 998 cc inline four-cylinder engine. Now it produces 200 BHP at 13,500 rpm (210 BHP with the Ram Air) and 114.9 Nm of torque at 11,200 rpm and is combined with a six-speed transmission. It has three power modes. The bicycle travels on a 43 mm downwards fork suspension and a monoshock on the rear. 330 mm Brembo discs do the braking on the front with four-piston callipers and a single 220 mm disc on the back with a Single piston calliper arrangement.

Other features include traction control, start-up operation, Kawasaki curve control function, Kawasaki engine brake control, ABS and an Ohlins electronic steering damper.
