We were the first to see the KTM RC 125 test mule on our roads. The engine returned to be a spy recently and our sources have revealed that the motorcycle is ready to debut in India in June. However, reservations have not yet begun. The main reason why KTM is taking the bicycle to India may be related to the success of the KTM 125 Duke in the domestic market. Although it is a price of more than one lakh rupee, which is quite high for a 125 if one observes the nature concerned about the price of the Indian bicycle market, the Naked engine had more sales than all the other KTM combined. With regard to prices, expect the RC 125 to recommend around Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom).
The RC 125 is essentially the impotent iteration of the 125 Duke. Apart from the cab and aggressive ergonomics, you also get headlights from the projectors compared to the Duke. Once launched, this is the most affordable engine with KTM cab. It will compete with version 3.0 of Yamaha YZF-R15 in India.
Compared to the model sold abroad, the bicycle specifications of India has a lower abdomen outlet instead of a side unit. The RC 125 shares the same engine as the 125 Duke. This single-cylinder engine of 124.7 cc, which works in combination with a 6-speed gearbox, generates 14.5PS and 12 Nm.
The suspension bits include inverted forks of 43 mm and a monoblock, both of WP. A 300 mm disc with radial caliper and a disc with a diameter of 230 mm ensure that the bicycle stops. In all likelihood, KTM will provide the RC 125 with a one-channel ABS, just like its naked brother or sister. Since the design of the cabin and the mechanics are similar to those of his older brother, the RC 200, it is likely that this motorcycle weighs the same: 160 kg (curb). Keep looking for more updates!
