The new motorcycle could be the typical RTR offer in its Apache range
- Two new products in development: a second motorcycle with BMW and a two-wheeled electric vehicle.
- The new motorcycle could be the TVS connection in the BMW G 310 R.
- The two-wheeled electric vehicle could be the concept of TVS Creon.
There is exciting news from the TVS camp! At a shareholders meeting recently held, the company based in Hosur suggested two new products that are being prepared for launch. While one might have left the second motorcycle to the TVS-BMW alliance, the other would be an electric two-wheeler.
Starting with the motorcycle, our first estimate would be a reduced version of the RR 310. Apache and would be a naked motorcycle, TVS can even discard the “RR” logo for its nickname “RTR”.
Needless to say, if it is indeed the new TVS Apache RTR 310, it will also remove the tub. Bit headlights and floodlights and sporty design RR 310 can also be missing for a more relaxed seating position and a beautiful street to watch. Wait for a design similar to that we have seen in the RTR 200 4V but a more muscular package.
It is likely that the new bike is powered by the same engine cylinder 312.2cc (34PS / 27.3Nm) RR Apache BMW G 310 and 310 twins. TVS also hope to continue the bases and features of RR Apache 310. in terms of prices, expect it to be around Rs 2 lakh mark (ex-showroom), by below RR310 in around Rs 25,000 and the twin G 310 too, by a more considerable margin.
Upon arrival on the two-wheeled electric vehicle, TVS says it will launch one at the end of the financial year. Will the TVS Creon be presented at the Expo Auto 2018? Or a completely different product? Well, our guess is as good as yours at the moment, we have to wait until 2020 Auto Expo to find out.
